Try this truck-to-truck tug-o-war on the street with a less manly vehicle and you can kiss some parts goodbye. This kind of entertainment can only come from the heavy-duty lifted 4x4 vehicles.

Rules

All trucks must be street legal

All trucks must be driven to the fair grounds, NO trailering

 

All trucks must be stock for your class.  Open class will be for trucks that do not

meet stock class with only one class in the open class.

 

Classes are as follows

 

2 wheel drive ½ ton, and 2 wheel drive ¾ ton, and 2 wheel drive 1 ton

4 wheel drive ½ ton, and 4 wheel drive ¾ ton, and 4 wheel drive 1 ton

Dually only 1 class grouped together

Compact trucks 4 cylinder and 6 cylinders

Open class will be all trucks in these classes that are not stock

 

1.        Hitch must be stationary (Reese style).  No bumper mounts.  Ball must be 2” minimum,            2000 capacity.

 

2.        No weight can be added to truck.  If tool box is in the bed, it must be empty.

 

3.        Tires must be street legal and no bigger than size of specs for that truck.

 

4.        If anything falls from your truck while competing you will be disqualified.

 

5.        When contest is over if a driver jerks the other driver when told to stop he will be disqualified

 

6.        No doors can be opened while still running or you will be disqualified.

 

7.        If truck goes out of bounds it will be disqualified.  White lines on each side of the trucks will mark this.  This area will be 10 feet wide.

 

8.        No truck can go in reverse while still competing.

 

9.        If your truck blows a tire while tugging you will be disqualified.

 

10.    All rules are subject to change or modify until time of event.

 

11.    Judges rulings are final.
