Crafters and Vendors
 

  The Boyd County Fair Board would like to extend an invitation to all crafters and vendors to join us for the 20th annual Boyd County Fair. We have spaces inside the air-conditioned multipurpose “Building of Dreams” as well as outdoor setups.       

 In 2005 the stage entertainment for the fair was moved inside the “Building of Dreams”. This move was a huge success not only for the performers and patrons but also for the vendors and exhibitors because it created a greater traffic flow through the building.

      We are currently working on entertainment, demolition derby,  mud bog, and many other contests for young and old for the 2010 Boyd County Fair.  The 4-H, FFA and the Extension Office are also making plans for their exhibits and entries in this year’s fair and are planning on the biggest year for their groups participation.

   We deeply appreciate the vendors that have been with us in our growing process…through the rough times, all sorts of weather hot, dry, and even the muddy ones. We are constantly seeking new vendors and crafters with innovative, intriguing, and unique items. We hope that all of you will join us Tuesday night August 17th through the Saturday night August 21st

     In an effort not to duplicate any main menu item, we ask that you get your applications in early. Just a reminder to all that the carnival, Casey's Rides, does have an exclusive on the following menu items on the midway; cotton candy, candy apples, corn dogs, funnel cakes, sno-kones, and lemonade shake-ups. Some of these items may be used in the motorsports area with special permission from the fair board. The fair board will then negotiate with the carnival on this.

    Please note that all food vendors at the Boyd County Fair will be inspected by The Fivco Area Health Department. Their inspectors are very thorough which makes them great at their jobs. Thanks to these people we are all safer here in Boyd County. Our hats go off to them and the job they do.
