The Boyd County Fair has entertainment for everyone. We have toe-tapping Bluegrass, the sweet harmony of Southern Gospel as well as the thrills and knocks of the wrestling ring.

The Singing Cookes & Cooke Brothers
For over 60 years the Singing Cookes have been inspiring churches and audiences with their songs. It began with Hubert and Jeanette in 1962 when Hubert, a coal miner, left his job to follow God's leading. Each of their sons joined the family group as they grew older and then formed their own group, The Cooke Brothers. They still continue to travel together.

Hammertowne
Hammertowne is an original yet traditional bluegrass band from the hills of Eastern, Ky. Their music has been described using such words as "EDGY" also "HIGH IMPACT" and even "IN YOUR FACE BLUEGRASS".

Some describe their music as traditional, and others describe it as Progressive. But at the end everyone DESCRIBES it as BLUEGRASS.

Charlie Woods & Deep Hollow is A progressive bluegrass group from eastern KY, who blend traditional tunes, with a modern sound. Singing songs about life, and culture in Appalachia.
